** This position is designed for current Business-related Students at Owens Community College who are applying for an internship through the Business Department.
The Office of Human Resources at Owens Community College is looking for motivated and energetic individuals who can provide general office support through the work week. We would love to welcome a select few Students interested in Human Resources and/or Business professional growth.
Essential Duties:
Greet Customers entering office, and prioritize inquiries to Generalists.
Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
Projects as assigned.
Other General Office Duties include, but are not limited to: answer calls, take messages, deliver messages.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer skills
Customer Service
Attention to detail
Maintain confidentiality
Light physical work - the ability to lift no more than 20 pounds at a time or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Minimum Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Microsoft Office experience
Ability to pass a background check
