Workweek

Up to 20 hours per week | Schedule will vary based on the student's/student's

Position Summary

Student Employee will assist in the lab and classroom within the Automation, Robotics, and Mechatronics program.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

- Clean the lab and classroom
- Prepare materials for labs (equipment operation may be required)
- Basic equipment maintenance and organization
- Assist Faculty as required to support labs
- Assemble training aids
- Test student exercises

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background Check
- Completion of New Employee Training
- Must be currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester
- Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (if first semester student, GPA requirement is waived)
- If student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to push or lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, walk, and stand up to 4 hours
