Position Summary:

This position assists with the strategic operations within all areas of the Athletic Department. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community and ability to use varying styles and approaches that reflect an understanding and acceptance of the role of culture in a diverse, multicultural workplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following are the functions essential to performing this job:1. Assist Facilities & Equipment Supervisor to ensure a safe and clean workout environment through constant circulation of the Athletics Center facilities.2. Assist with overseeing use of the Weight Room and Gymnasium.3. Assist in identifying participant exercise risk and concern.4. Clean and sanitize Weight Room equipment.5. Provide appropriate set-up of gymnasium equipment to include volleyball and basketball.6. Assist with game day duties.7. Other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

1. High school diploma/GED2. Current FCC student.3. Excellent verbal communication skills.4. Ability to lift, move, carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and ascend and descend stairs.5. Ability to communicate effectively and interact with people across cultures, ranges of ability, genders, ethnicities, and races.

Desired Qualifications:

1. One year of experience working in an athletics environment.

Variable between the operating hours of 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday
