Position Purpose:The Dartmouth Center for Social Impact (DCSI) seeks to educate Dartmouth undergraduates to be transformative leaders for the common good through community-based experiential learning. This position advances the marketing, outreach and storytelling needs of the Center by coordinating content generation across the center and implementing a plan for outreach to a variety of stakeholders. This Outreach and Program Coordinator also provides coordination for the Center’s programming focused on domestic and international internships, social impact leadership training, and social sector careers. The position includes marketing, content creation, program coordination, risk management, event planning, student advising and student supervision.This position requires a candidate with excellent writing skills, an eye for design of marketing materials, deep commitment to student learning, social impact, a collaborative work style, strong execution and program oversight skills, and the capacity to serve as an inspiring role model and mentor to Dartmouth students.
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp:Bachelor's degree
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:- One to two years of work experience within the social sector or higher education (experience as a student will be considered).
- Interest in or a commitment to service, social impact and the common good.
- Celebration of and commitment to inclusivity, diversity, equity and accessibility.
- Experience in communications, storytelling, and content development.
- Excellent written communication skills. Ability to tailor communication to various stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Proficient with computer applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Database Management, etc.).
- Experience with event and project coordination.
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, the social sector and nonprofits.
- Proficient with communications applications (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Canva, Constant Contact, Later).
- Strong self-awareness, interpersonal and collaborative abilities; demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Description:Increase the Center’s visibility by planning and implementing marketing and outreach initiatives to targeted stakeholder groups. Generate content, facilitate marketing plans, coordinate DCSI’s various social media platforms, document DCSI activities in photos and written materials, and develop outreach and marketing collateral.

Description:Provide programmatic coordination for social impact internship, leadership development, and social sector career programming including program planning and logistics, event management, risk management, assessment, student recruitment, student training and reflection. Supports and serves as a resource for students in the field and manages student emergencies. Develops and executes events and outreach to increase knowledge of the Center and social impact opportunities.

Description:Advise, guide, and connect students interested in social sector issues, social impact careers, and social justice. Build and cultivate relationships and collaboration with various stakeholders (students, alumni, community partners, staff, faculty).
