Georgia State University (GSU) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director for Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management Communications, this role will serve as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert for the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success. The Associate Director will be pivotal in optimizing the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to enhance communication strategies, streamline processes, and support recruitment and student success initiatives.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Examples of Duties include:
· The Associate Director for Salesforce and Marketing Cloud will oversee the implementation and management of Salesforce Marketing Cloud within the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success.
· The AD will leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud's capabilities to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that support enrollment goals and enhance student engagement
· Oversee the development of social media and email campaigns aimed at enhancing the student experience by providing updates on academic resources, campus events, important deadlines, registration, financial aid, and support services.
· Responsible for monitoring and analyzing campaign metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication efforts, utilizing data-driven insights from Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
· Responsible for developing and providing training and support to staff and departments on effective social media and email communication practices
· Supervise Public Relations Coordinator. Coordinate human resources activities, including creating/modifying position descriptions, performance appraisals, hiring, staff training, discipline, conflict resolution, and termination of employees
Qualifications
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field and five years of related experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
· Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, both oral and written
· Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
· Ability to effectively work with diverse constituencies in a large, fast-paced professional work environment

Founded in 1913 in Atlanta, Georgia State University is the second-largest and one of four research institutions in the University System of Georgia. The University serves one-fourth of the graduate students in the university system; it is within a one-hour commute of more than one-third of the state’s population. The Georgia State Panthers are members of the Colonial Athletic Association and compete in 16 NCAA Division I intercollegiate men’s and women’s sports, including basketball, baseball, softball, golf, tennis, track and volleyball. The university announced in April 2008 that is will begin Division I-AA football in 2010.
The university’s innovative Touch the Earth program brings outdoor recreation ranging from backpacking, rock climbing, sailing, kayaking, rafting and water-skiing to out-of-state snow-skiing and snorkeling trips. And WRAS, Georgia State’s popular 100,000-watt radio voice, is the most powerful student-run radio station in the United States.
