Job Title:Healthcare Application Analyst

Department:Health System Shared Services | Clinical Applications

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our IT team to support implementation of a new provider data management platform. This individual will work closely with the project team to ensure the successful execution of project tasks and attainment of milestones. This role is crucial in enhancing our digital presence and improving customer engagement through accurate data management. Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to gather and organize project-related information. Participate in project team meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and challenges.

Job Description

Serves as the primary contributor in the analysis and validation of system requirements to existing business processes and information systems to ensure desirability, practicality, and resource availability and capability. Designs, develops and implements complex programs and/or modifications of existing applications. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of complex applications according to organization standards and end-user requirements. Responsible for the determination, diagnosis, isolation and resolution of complex applications resource and utilization problems and errors. Develops fault diagnosis, isolation and resolution techniques that ensure optimal performance is constantly maintained.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Information Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Four years experience in Information Technology (preferably experience in Clinical Operations), and/or a Clinical Area, preferably a combination of both clinical and IT technology.
  • Extensive experience interacting with customers to gather and understand their business and technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of systems implementation which may include analysis, specification design, and implementation.
  • Strong project and process management skills; ability to manage complex projects with a medium to large scope.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge and experience with hospital systems and business practices.
  • Experience with InterSystems or similar data management platforms desired.
  • Epic certification desired.
