The CRM Project Manager role combines strategic planning, project management, and technical expertise to guide MDC Cultural Affairs through the implementation and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
This grant position will be eligible for participation in the Florida Retirement System (FRS) after 6 consecutive months of continuous employment.
This is a temporary grant funded position through July 01, 2029, contingent upon grant or funding and grant extensions.
• Oversees the development lifecycle, from initial ideation through to implementation and continuous enhancement
• Collaborates with each unit to develop uses for constituent related processes and workflows and prepares and cleans constituent data before migrating to the customer relationship management (CRM), ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment across all units
• Assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive CRM strategy that supports the needs of each unit while fostering a cohesive approach
• Works closely with staff from each unit to identify their specific CRM needs and provide guidance on best practices for data management and constituent engagement
• Defines and prioritizes the product backlog, creating actionable user stories for the development teams
• Serves as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication of business needs and to align CRM implementation efforts with broader institutional strategies, ensuring consistency and adherence to organizational goals
• Plans and manages product release plans and sets the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
• Monitors project progress, resolves issues and initiates appropriate corrective actions as needed
• Maintains a high level of organization and transparency with project documentation and management tools
• Fosters a collaborative team environment that encourages ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Maintains thorough documentation of CRM processes and data management practices. Prepares regular reports on constituent engagement and CRM performance metrics for review by unit directors
• Monitors and analyzes the effectiveness of CRM initiatives and strategies, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement
• Works collaboratively to influence CRM tactics and operational strategies that enhance constituent relationships and engagement efforts
• Engages with stakeholders to define product vision and ensures that customer and market needs are met
• Provides training and ongoing support to staff across all units regarding CRM processes, data entry, and utilization of Salesforce features and functionalities
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in, Computer Science, Business Administration, or any other related field and three (3) years of related work experience; or Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and seven (7) years of related work experience
• All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
• Proven experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software
• Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
• Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement capabilities
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and software development processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to solve complex problems and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion
• Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
