IntermediateWork Experience Description:
Ideal for students who have begun gaining relevant experience and are building their skills through internships, part-time jobs, or significant projects. Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework.Under the supervision of the Assignment Coordinator, assists with administrative and fiscal tasks; organize and coordinate office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Coordinates and corresponds with various departments regarding assignments. Processes and verifies contracts and occupancy in the Residence Halls. Ensures that customers contacting the Residential Life Office, either by phone or in person, receive the best service possible.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Clear understanding of basic business principles.
- Prior office experience preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills in English is necessary.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to work without supervision.
- Strongly prefer students who will be on campus during the breaks and summer semester.
- Strong skills in Excel and Word are necessary.
- Ability to think and reason quickly and clearly during stressful situations.
- Must be a self-starter and exhibit initiative.
- Must be responsible and trustworthy.
- Able to understand and apply University Policies and Procedures.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
