Job scope
The Lecturer in Business Management will play a pivotal role in the successful launch and delivery of business education programs at Fulbright University Vietnam. This position will involve teaching courses in the Executive MBA curriculum and contributing to the research efforts of the university. Additionally, the lecturer will teach courses in the undergraduate business program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in business management, relevant industry experience, and a commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment for students.

Reports to: The Program Director of Business and Executive Education 
Dotted-line reports to: Dean of Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management (FSPPM), Dean of Undergraduate Studies

Roles and Responsibilities 
The key responsibilities of the Faculty in Business Management include but are not limited to:
-    Lecture the core and elective courses in one or more of the following areas in graduate Executive MBA program: Business Strategy, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Technology and Operations Management, Supply Chain Management.
-    Develop and deliver engaging course content that combines theoretical frameworks, case studies, tailored to the needs of executive-level students.
-    Contribute to curriculum development of designated modules across programs as appropriate.
-    Participate in the design of course materials, assessments, and learning activities that align with program objectives and learning outcomes.
-    Collaborate with other faculty members and academic affairs to support overall success of the EMBA program through relevant activities such as student recruitment events, admission interviews, and contribute to the broader goals of the school and the university.
-    Participate in faculty meetings, school or University committees, and other initiatives as required. 
-    Participate in executive education training programs and sponsored research project when required. 
-    Teach undergraduate business courses

Other duties:
Contributing to team effort by welcoming new and different work requirements; exploring new opportunities to enhance the services of the department; helping others accomplish related job results as and where needed; and perform other duties as assigned.

What we look for
•    Education:  PhD degree (or relevant doctoral qualification) in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is required.
•    Experience: 
o    Relevant teaching experience at the graduate level, preferably in an Executive MBA or similar program.
o    Professional experience in business management or related fields, with a strong understanding of current industry trends and practices.
o    Proven experience of working within a team environment, to collaborate with colleagues across curriculum development and delivery, research and external engagement.
o    Strong track record and recognition for quality research outputs.
•    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including students, faculty, and industry leaders.
o    Ability to provide a high-quality teaching and learning experience by designing teaching and learning materials that are innovative, engaging, up to date and appropriately challenging.
o    Ability to use online teaching tools such as MS Teams, Canvas, Zoom and other online resources to effectively communicate with students in all levels.
o    Proficiency in English is required. Knowing Vietnamese is a plus.
