Job Details
- Assist the Business Application Manager in the testing of 3rd party applications pertaining to external file load processes, group post processes, and Student Financials modifications in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and TouchNet’s eBill+Payment applications.
- Responsible with assisting in the handling of the Tech Helpline for users who have issues accessing software applications, setting up user profiles, Authorized User log in, password reset, ACH payment restrictions, and multi-factor authentication set up.
- Responsible for processing and/or creating all batch files for posting to student and organization accounts submitted by various university departments.
- Responsible for generating all refund files that broker over to Accounts Payable for processing and verify record counts and amounts prior to running reports for Bank Mobile disbursement. Verify and track captured refund data comparing against query reports of transactional data. Responsible for generating all Bank Mobile Disbursement files to be transferred to our third-party refund processor Bank Mobile.
- Responsible for generating invoices through the Online Invoice system and STRATUS Oracle Cloud system. Responsible for running all batch processes to generate charge and credit file layouts for posting to customer accounts.
- Responsible for running the Meal Plan and Housing processes and identifying batch errors for each system process.
- Responsible for processing duplicate 1098T forms when requested by students and parents. Responsible for overriding values in the 1098T process if student was not generated an original 1098T form by first researching the account’s financial and enrollment activity to determine student’s eligibility.
- Responsible for setting waiver codes on student accounts for removing New Student Orientation Fees, International Student Service Fees, Health Insurance, and other fees if found necessary based on system set up and criteria.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three years with the types of hardware and software to be supported, two years of which included user support, user training, and/or programming.
Must be a detail-oriented individual with knowledge of transactional customer account activity and a technical understanding of file structures, excel spreadsheets, and Access databases. Understanding of file management, folder structures, and network drives. Advanced analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. Must have clear communicative skills. Ability to work under pressure within time constraints and prioritize, evaluate, and organize workload to support deadlines. Ability to work independently and within a team structure to manage workload and support daily business activity. Must be dedicated and able to work additional hours when deadlines need to be met.
Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
