Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing support for the marketing functions for the college.

Responsibilities

Photography and Videography:

Assist with capturing high-quality photos and videos of campus events, student life, and promotional content.

Edit photos and videos using tools like Adobe Creative Suite or other editing software.

Social Media Content Creation:

Develop engaging content for Gordon State College¿s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute new social media trends and strategies.

Podcast Production:

Assist with recording, editing, and producing episodes for GSC's Moving Forward podcast series.

General Marketing Support:

Assist with promoting campus events and with special projects within Enrollment Services and Marketing.

Perform other marketing-related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Strong skills in photography and videography, with experience in editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Canva).

Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, particularly Instagram and Facebook.

Interest in podcast production; experience with related tools is a plus.

Creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
