Job Responsibilities

The Director of Talent Search is responsible for the administration, planning, implementation, and coordination of all aspects of the ETS Program. Responsibilities include grant development; development of program goals, budget development, and management; supervision and training of ETS counseling staff, educational tutors, and clerical staff; and coordination of ETS project activities. The director must also collaborate with other TTC TRiO program directors and other institutional directors and serve as a liaison between the ETS program, the general public, and the community.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs. Preferred candidate will have a master’s degree in Counseling Education or related field and five (5) years of related work experience with a TRIO program. This is a grant funded position.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledgeable and skilled in personnel supervision, budget management, counseling theory and practice, and federal and state project guidelines. Individual must be able to set program goals and monitor their implementation. Individual must be highly motivated, have good supervisory skills, and should be able to effectively interact with a wide range of staff, college personnel, school administrators, and community leaders. Customer service is a must.
