Job Details
We are looking for a functional HRIS Senior Systems Administrator who will play a key role in the development of extensive HRIS initiatives and operational workflows in our current Peoplesoft HCM system. The qualified candidate will be tech-savvy with extensive experience in benefits administration, talent acquisition, performance management, electronic actions forms, system enhancements / maintenance / upgrades, and other systems which support HR initiatives.
This position also demands deep project management and execution skills overseeing flawless roll-out of HR initiatives, ensuring precise system setups, project rollouts, and ongoing management.
As we anticipate a migration away from PeopleSoft HCM to a cloud ERP system the role will evolve by being involved in current and future state business process mappings and improvements.
Responsibilities- Lead HRIS changes and enhancements, maintaining data integrity, security, and compliance within the project scope, schedules, priorities, and customer relationships.
- Assess the impact of HRIS solution design and deployment, consulting with HR policy and business process and workstream leads to minimize customizations, implement new functionalities and integrate new systems with existing ones.
- Develop scenarios and test cases, generate test data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product system readiness for HR launch.
- Independently develop launch plans and strategies, leveraging minimal guidance for maximum efficiency.
- Provide daily administration and technical support for HRIS systems.
- Work with programmers or vendors to implement and test system changes.
- Maintain system tables and business rules.
- Demonstrated use of and experience with relational query reporting tools.
- Develop and maintain reference materials and provide ongoing user support.
- Train HRIS users on best practices and maintain related documentation.
- Provide data entry and auditing support during peak periods.
- Participate in cross-functional projects as a data management expert.
- Education:BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years in HRIS, systems administration and functional HR knowledge.
- PeopleSoft experience (v.9.2)
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing multiple projects with varying degree of complexities.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making assessments for decisions.
- Ability to translate functional business requirements into technical specifications.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to handle confidential information in a responsible and accurate.
Preferred
- Human Resources Systems ERP implementations, upgrade experience within HCM, or systems migrations to other ERP or cloud systems.
- Benefits Administration module experience
- Cloud administration experience.
- Project management certification.
