Providence College (PC) seeks an exceptional academic leader to serve as its provost and senior vice president for academic affairs. As the college's chief academic officer and a member of the president's cabinet, the next provost will play a key role in stewarding the ongoing pursuit of PC's mission and strategic priorities.

Providence College is a Catholic, Dominican, predominantly undergraduate liberal arts institution located on a picturesque 108-acre campus in Providence, Rhode Island. Founded in 1917, it is the only college or university in the United States administered by the Dominican friars. PC is an institution for those who seek truth, who celebrate the relationship between faith and reason, and who pursue those values in a loving, diverse, and inclusive community.

PC is in excellent position to pursue its goals with a robust enrollment pipeline and a strong financial position. In October 2024, the college formally launched Beyond Limits: The Campaign for Providence College, the most ambitious fundraising campaign in its history. The $300 million fundraising initiative is aimed at strengthening academics, enhancing the student experience, and making education more accessible through financial aid and scholarships.

Providence College seeks a provost to provide exemplary leadership of PC's academic enterprise and scholarly and creative endeavors. An earned doctoral or terminal degree from an accredited institution and qualifications for tenure at the rank of full professor in an academic department at Providence College are required.
