Job Details
The Department of Mathematics seeks to fill adjunct positions to begin Spring 2025. To build an active pool of qualified applicants, Trident Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach at the Berkeley, Palmer, Dorchester, Mount Pleasant, and Thornley campuses. Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching varying schedules at various locations, utilizing technology, and using various teaching methods in instruction. Preference will be given to in-person instructors over asynchronous online classes.
Minimum and Additional RequirementsTo qualify for these positions, you must have at least a master's degree in mathematics OR a master's degree with 18 semester credit hours in mathematics at the graduate level. Adjunct faculty positions require the submission of unofficial transcripts with the application. Preferred QualificationsCandidates with teaching experience at the college level are preferred. Applicants must be capable of adapting to an environment that is constantly changing due to advancements in information technology. Qualified candidates may be assigned to teach mathematics courses ranging from beginning algebra to calculus III and differential equations, as well as probability and statistics, discrete mathematics, and contemporary mathematics. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
