Costa Rica In-Country Travel Study Support Specialist

Posting Summary:The Costa Rica In-Country Travel Support Specialist will provide on-the-ground and online student and operational support for the Costa Rica Study Abroad Program, including residential life support services, coordinating and facilitating in-country activities, providing emergency and risk management support, student marketing and outreach, while coordinating and documenting all financial transactions, tracking budgets, liaising with UVM faculty, staff, administrative staff, and community partners. The position will also provide financial administrative reports and answer accounting questions to close out all expenses for the program each semester.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):Bachelor’s degree with one to four years of related experience. Working knowledge of software applications used to support office functions, and familiarity with internet resources required.A valid driver’s license or ability to obtain is required.

Anticipated Pay Range:$25.00 - $27.00
Special Conditions:Non-standard work hours required, Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required, Contingent on continued funding, Travel to and from worksites required, This position is eligible for full-time telework in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
