Position Summary

Michigan State University is one of the top 100 research universities in the world. Various federal, state and nongovernmental entities provide funding in the form of awards to the University to carry out research programs, known as sponsored programs. Each award includes specific guidance identifying how the funds may be used to support the research. Contract and Grant Administration (CGA) is a unit dedicated to the central administration and oversight of these research awards after they are received. All CGA teams support MSU's research by providing timely, accurate, and courteous assistance with the financial and contractual administration of sponsored programs. In addition, CGA is the point of contact for external audits and provides oversight to support university compliance with award requirements.
