Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is a project pay position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions.
Unit Position SummaryMSU intern athletic trainers assist in the daily management of the athletic training facilities and physician clinics, as well as the comprehensive medical care for the student athletes at Michigan State University. In addition to your clinical experience there will be advanced educational opportunities. This includes Osteopathic Manual Medicine skills and didactic sessions throughout the year. Individual and group mentoring will also help to guide development of competencies in athletic training. There is a stipend for each position. Successful candidates will be required to subject to a criminal background check.
This position will begin in July or August 2025 lasting 10 months.
Desired QualificationsNational Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification status and possess, or be eligible to obtain, licensure for the State of Michigan.
