Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Finance and Administration Analyst performs a variety of financial and administrative duties. This position will assist with the day-to-day financial administration and operations for Enrollment & Student Administration (ENSA) and its departments. The Analyst will need to have a strong SAP background as they will support the unit with their expertise and much of the job functions will rely heavily on SAP. This includes but is not limited to processing and analyzing financial transactions, management of financial dashboard, assisting in processing and reconciling payroll, performing account reconciliations and preparing financial reports, review and implementation of financial processes and policy improvements, and financial management.

Specific Tasks
  • Provide oversight of financial functions and business operations for the unit.
  • Manage the day-to-day financial operations, including unit dashboard, complete monthly reconciliation, prepare quarterly reports, assist with fiscal year closing and perform various financial analyses.
  • Strategize with Director on resource and personnel allocations, recommend process improvements, and resolve issues related to funding.
  • Serve as a liaison with Accounts Payable and Sourcing/ Procurement to troubleshoot issues.
  • Payroll Management oversee and reconcile payroll for all staff members and assist with student payroll, serving as the payroll coordinator, for the units and its departments.
  • Work on miscellaneous tasks and special projects, such as gathering and tracking annual report data, managing event logistics, and other ad hoc projects as needed. Including, developing functional and procedural documentation required for new and existing business applications and provide operational support.
  • Resolve or triage SAP and related transactions for the unit, for both procurement and HR systems. This includes but is not limited to resolution of system errors, org or student employee/personnel data updates, user training or system usage advice, data requests and system security updates and resolution of student employee issues. As well as closing out open purchase request.

Required Skills
  • BA required, MA preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3-years related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and strong verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize routine tasks and ad-hoc requests.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in dealing with sensitive and/or personal information.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as effectively and cooperatively in a team.
  • A keen eye for tracking documentation and identifying risks, rapid and efficient issue resolution, and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, intellectually curious.
  • Strong SAP skillset.
