The Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (CAMED) is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance & Administrative Operations team, the Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to the budget, and operations process at CAMED, working directly with the finance leads under the Associate Dean of Finance. In addition, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for financial oversight, reporting, and billing for the CAMED Research Cores. A willingness to learn the functional processes across various Boston University offices and to train and support colleagues is another component of this role. Excellent organizational skills, a financial mindset, and customer service skills are necessary.
The selected candidate is expected to have significant expertise with current financial technologies, including but not limited to SAP, and exceptional Microsoft Excel skills.
Required Skills:
- 1-3 plus years of experience in a financial analytic role.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success of working in teams and ability to span across all levels.
- Motivated with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with large sets of complex data
- Strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-through
- Proficiency with SAP and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex knowledge/information across a variety of areas of function
