Teach MWF 10:10-11 am January 13, 2025 to March 31, 2025
Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Physical Conditioning Class is designed to help individuals of all fitness levels improve their overall strength, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and balance. Instructors will guide participants through a variety of exercises, including strength training, aerobic conditioning, functional movements, and stretching techniques. The goal is to promote lifelong fitness by enhancing physical health, boosting energy levels, and preventing injury. Classes may be tailored to accommodate a range of fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes.
Required Competencies- Knowledge of Exercise Science: A solid understanding of human physiology, kinesiology, and exercise principles to ensure safe and effective workouts.
- Instructional Skills: Ability to lead group fitness classes, demonstrating exercises clearly, offering modifications, and motivating participants.
- Communication Skills: Ability to give clear instructions, provide feedback, and foster a positive, engaging class environment.
- Time Management: Capability to plan and execute efficient, well-structured classes within the designated time frame.
- Adaptability: Ability to modify workouts on the fly to accommodate diverse fitness levels and varying participant needs.
- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with proper warm-up, cool-down, and injury prevention techniques to ensure participant safety.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
