Responsibilities

Coordinate all general and direct communication for prospects and High School Coaches. Manage the creation, implementation and delivery of all written and digital correspondence. Create master plans for Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, Freshman, and High School Coaches Communication. Distribute communications plan to coaches, support, and athletic staff so they have a clear understanding of the plan. Ensure consistency in messaging on social media and digital platforms. Serve as the Football Representative for the Communications Committee - The Committee will consist of the Digital Media, Marketing, Seminole Productions, Seminole Boosters, and University Communications. Collaborate with the committee for the generation of content and consistency of messaging.

Oversee the creation of the Recruiting Board (Virtual Board) in the Football Staff Room. Organization of the board by year/ position / evaluation grade / recruiting area. Ensure board is up to date at all times with measurable and pertinent information. Code prospects that have written offer and academic risks.

Create master plan for annual communication from the Head Coach. Creation and implementation of all Head Coach recruiting correspondence.

Serve as the creative director of direct marketing to individual prospects. Oversee and guide graphic design staff for the creation of direct marketing of the football recruiting program. Prioritize and map out master schedule of planned communication content for graphic design team. Act as the conduit for the recruiting coaches requests for graphic design requests. Oversee the organization of all unofficial visits including the following: itineraries, act as the spokesperson for the visits, and introductions to the Football Operations Departments (Equipment / Medical / Player Development / Video / SID / Strength & Conditioning), Athletic Departments (Academics / Administration / Business Office / Compliance / Facilities / Nutrition / Seminole Productions / Student Athlete Development / Ticket Office), and University Departments (Presidents Office / Admissions).

Oversee all recruiting related software programs and platforms. Research and secure the software that suits the needs for Florida State Recruiting. Act as the system administrator for software implantation and maintenance. Serve as the liaison between Florida State and Software companies for upgrades, troubleshooting, and next generation versions. Serve as the Liaison to national and local recruiting publications. Monitor publications for pertinent information for Florida State Prospects. Foster relationships for the positive exposure of the Florida State Football Program.

Oversee football events that are staged on the Florida State Campus. Create all communication and marketing for events. Administer the event from creation to completion. After a prospect has signed – assist in the onboarding of the student athlete and his family. Create onboarding strategy to familiarize families with Florida State University and Tallahassee. Ensure all signees have submitted proper documentation for admissions, clearinghouse, and the University. Create seamless hand off of signee to transition into the Player Development Department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to eight years. (Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in recruiting at the collegiate level.

Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.

Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
