Responsibilities
  • This position will contribute to student success and enrollment initiatives as part of the outreach goals of the Chapman Center, students in enrollment and registration, engage in frequent communications with students, and collect/report data to evaluate student achievement of academic goals or assess the success of various student outreach initiatives.
  • Work individually with high school dual enrollment students from The Collegiate School at FSU Panama City, other local high school dual enrollment students, and exploratory undergraduate students at FSU Panama City.
  • Provide academic advising and enrollment services to students from these populations.
  • Track student progress through their academic program.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders at partner schools and FSU PC Admissions to facilitate effective dual-enrollment processes.
  • Work with school counselors to determine dual enrollment eligibility and work with campus administration to update and monitor articulation agreements.
  • Serve as an integral team player with the student success team.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree and one year of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years.)
  • A valid State of Florida Driver’s License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively communicate and exude advanced interpersonal skills with students and coworkers.
  • Experience successfully contributing to a team dynamic
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office, One Drive, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe PDF programs,
  • Ability to compile and understand student academic data.
  • Experience with computer-based student success/enrollment management platforms (e.g., EAB Campus Connect, PeopleSoft Student Central).
  • Experience working with advanced secondary school students and/or dual enrollment populations in post-secondary institutions.

Anticipated Salary Range

Starting at $44,184 commensurate with education and experience.
