Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Director of Civic House, the Administrative Coordinator is responsible for organizing the House's overall activities, including programs and events related to Civic House initiatives; managing the office and the Civic House facility; processing and tracking financial activities; and supporting communications and website content.

This position consists of 20 hours per week at $20.00/hr.

This is a temporary position and has an end date of 12/27/24. This requires in-person work.

Job Description

Duties:
  • In coordination with the Provost Administrative Affairs' office, support timely processing of Civic House financial transactions.
  • Administer use of Civic House facility.
  • Oversee scheduling, policies and procedures for community service transportation.
  • Perform other duties in support of office's smooth functioning.
  • Coordinate logistics for a variety of Civic House initiatives (sample listed below) in collaboration with other staff.
  • Assists with making travel arrangements and producing expense reports
  • Assists with the coordination and planning of various department events
  • Provide support for daily operations
  • Business Office: weekly payroll preparation and processing, equipment contracts/repairs, facilities requests, office supply maintenance, service contracts
  • Financial responsibilities: create PO's, troubleshooting, following up on purchasing requests
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    High School Grad/GE Degree, and 5 to 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

    This is a temporary non-exempt part-time position.

    Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
