Position Summary:Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Front Office Lead Administrator. - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Welcome visitors to the office in a professional and courteous manner, help SAS students in the office who need assistance, and notify SAS staff when appointments arrive.
Answer the phones, answer general questions about SAS, and make appointments (canceling/rescheduling appointments as needed).
Maintain the office (cleanliness and organization of the front desk area).
Assist with SAS Testing - Administer exams with approved accommodations, assist in contacting professors with regards to exams and instruction on how to proctor them, assist with administering Testing Orientations (TO), and answer questions regarding testing policies and procedures.
Participate in the interview and hiring process for new SAS Student Workers and Graduate Assistants; Co-supervise and train the SAS student workers.
Place/retrieve accessible furniture in classrooms for students with disabilities (one week before each semester starts and as needed). Update the furniture inventory (where and when furniture was placed and when it was retrieved).
Provide professional development presentations about SAS to FAU and the local community.
Maintain the confidentiality of medical and academic records.
Drive campus golf cart.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
