Reunion Giving Officer
Job Description:
The reunion giving team works to secure support while engaging alumni with their alma mater and educating them on the impact of philanthropy. In addition to raising funds, the program works to build awareness, loyalty and pride in W&L.

Essential Functions:
- Manages the 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th reunion committees.
- Develops detailed plans and timelines for recruitment, training and the management of reunion volunteers. Oversees call assignment process and record keeping of volunteer contacts for assigned classes.
- Oversees the fundraising efforts for the 5th- 20th classes and works with development colleagues and reunion chairs to identify solicitation strategies for leadership prospects.
- Manages a portfolio of 50-100 reunion alumni including committee members and TPS prospects.
- Travel will include at least 60 meaningful and strategic visits each year.
- Develops and oversees reunion stewardship events including TPS reception and Young Alumni stewardship events in partnership with Annual Giving liaisons.
- Partners with Annual Giving liaisons to develop strategies to retain and cultivate student leaders to be engaged young alumni.
- Serves as primary liaison to Alumni Office for Young Alumni weekend including staffing, briefings, class events and key donor visits.
- Provides assistance to the Director of Reunion Campaigns and other development team members as needed.
- Works with Donor Relations and Financial Aid to build custom stewardship reports for Young Alumni class scholarships.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least three years of fundraising or related experience is desired.
- The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to excellent job performance and teamwork is essential as is a record of success in fundraising and a willingness to travel and work with potential donors.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines while cultivating relationships with volunteers is critical to success.
- Evening and some weekend work is required.
