Minimum Qualifications:Candidates must have a PhD in accounting or a PhD in a closely related field with a concentration or emphasis in accounting.
Position Summary:The J. M. Tull School of Accounting in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor with expertise in emerging technology related to financial reporting policy and management accounting. Position will begin Spring 2025 with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2025.
Additional Requirements:Expertise in emerging technology related to financial reporting policy and management accounting.
For appointment at the assistant professor rank, candidates should have an active research agenda that demonstrates potential for research publishable in top-tier research journals and should show promise for excellence in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Assistant applicants requesting service credit, should have a record of publishing in premier journals commensurate with rank and demonstrated excellence in teaching.
