ITS provides reliable collaborative tools to FSU faculty, staff, and students to empower users to create value.
ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for development and engineering of systems and solutions under the purview of the Collaborative Services Team. It includes providing support for a suit of collaborative and email security applications, notably Azure, Office 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Zoom, DUO, CrowdStrike, among others. This position is deeply involved in design and planning, troubleshooting, research and development, project management, and testing assurance of Collaborative solutions. This position
focuses on SharePoint platform. Including administering dataverses, lists, applications, workflows, security context and complex business processes.
Engineer solutions to meet complex business needs utilizing Azure, O365, SharePoint, Exchange online, the power platform, Zoom, and identity solutions. Responsible for ensuring these systems are operational when needed, performing necessary maintenance and securing the SharePoint platform.
Plan, build, design, and curate scripted automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operation efficiencies. PowerShell script creation and API management
of Microsoft technologies, Zoom, SharePoint, CrowdStrike, Duo and other Cloud based technologies. Responsible for operation and availability of these services.
Responsible for SharePoint platform.
Offers expert guidance SharePoint platform and advice to Information Technology Services (ITS) personnel and the Florida State University (FSU) community on intricate computing issues. Participates in addressing and resolving queries submitted to the Help Desk.
Collects and analyzes usage and performance data; diagnoses problems and takes appropriate action anytime, day or night. Conduct quality assurance checks to evaluate the performance, reliability and safety of systems.
Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.
Shares responsibilities for providing support 24/7. Other duties as necessary.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and two years' experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
