Departmental Objective:The Housing department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU.
Purpose of the Position:This position will maintain various floors by performing floor maintenance duties using various floor maintenance equipment and supplies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position:- Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies
- Skilled in the use of floor maintenance equipment and supplies
- Good organization skills
- Ability to work in teams
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., tolerate frequent bending, stooping, and climbing stairs
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience that equates to a high school diploma.
Experience:
- Experience with floor maintenance and floor maintenance equipment.
- Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning supplies.
- Drivers license is required.
Experience:
- Previous experience working at a university.
Starting at $30,160, Commensurate with Education and Experience.
