Departmental Objective:

The Housing department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU.

Purpose of the Position:

This position will maintain various floors by performing floor maintenance duties using various floor maintenance equipment and supplies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position:

  • Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies
  • Skilled in the use of floor maintenance equipment and supplies
  • Good organization skills
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs., tolerate frequent bending, stooping, and climbing stairs

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required :

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience that equates to a high school diploma.

Experience:
  • Experience with floor maintenance and floor maintenance equipment.
  • Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning supplies.
  • Drivers license is required.

  • Previous experience working at a university.

Salary Information:

Starting at $30,160, Commensurate with Education and Experience.
