The instructor oversees a group of nursing students in the clinical area, guiding them through medication administration and other nursing skills appropriate to their level. They lead pre-conferences to plan the day's activities and post-conferences to reflect on outcomes. Throughout the process, they collaborate closely with students, patients, and families to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.
NUR105- Introduction to Professional Nursing: Monday, Wednesday, or Friday
NUR200- Nursing Concepts of the Childbearing Family: Saturdays
NUR250- Concepts of Nursing III, Critical Care: Tuesdays or Wednesdays
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing
Two years' experience in clinical nursing practice
Current RN license in Illinois
Specialty in teaching area preferred
Teaching experience at the vocational or community college level preferred.
