Job Title:Business Operations Analyst/Marketing & Events Specialist

Department:Medicine | IM Hospital Medicine

The Business Operations Analyst provides a critical role in specialized administrative and operational support with a focus on events (clinical, education, and research) and all relevant social media and communications for the Division of Hospital Medicine. This role works closely with Division Leadership to help ensure that communications and events align with the division's strategic goals and objectives while attending to the management of division resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support for Event Coordination and Management: Provides support in planning and executing division events, such as the annual symposium, faculty retreats, CME symposiums, holiday celebrations, and other special events. Assists in the logistical coordination of events, ensuring that they are well-organized and effectively executed.

  • Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination: Coordinates with external vendors, registrants, contracted facilities, and outside speakers to facilitate the successful execution of events. Supports effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that events meet division standards and objectives.

  • Resource and Content Development Support: Assists in the development and management of division resources, including materials for events and programs. Helps ensure that all materials are prepared and distributed in a timely and organized manner.

  • Communications and Information Management: Provides support in managing internal and external communications. Assists in organizing and maintaining key information resources, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to division members.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting Support: Helps gather and analyze data related to event participation, resource usage, and other key metrics. Assists in providing insights and recommendations to division leadership to improve future events and increase engagement.

  • Operational Support: Provides general operational support, including assisting with the development of budgets for events and programs, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and aligning activities with the division’s financial objectives.

  • Digital and Social Media Coordination: Supports division efforts to maintain a digital presence, including assisting in managing social media accounts and updating digital platforms. This role helps gather content and ensures alignment with broader division objectives.
