President
Landmark College invites nominations and applications for the position of President.
Landmark College in Putney, VT, is the nation’s preeminent institution for neurodivergent students with learning differences (“LD”—including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and executive function challenges). Landmark is a fully accredited, traditional college that provides an intentionally designed, resource-rich, academic and student life model for its unique learners. Landmark College’s mission is to transform the way students learn, educators teach, and the public thinks about education. We provide highly accessible approaches to learning that empower individuals who learn differently to exceed their aspirations and to achieve their greatest potential. Through the Landmark College Institute for Research and Training, the College aims to extend its mission across the nation and throughout the world. To fulfill our mission and provide a transformative educational experience, the College and our community remain dedicated to an ethos built on innovation, service to students with LDs, and willingness to continually grow and reinvent ourselves.
The president is the chief executive officer of Landmark College and reports to the Board of Trustees. In partnership with a talented and collaborative President’s Council team, the president has overall strategic, financial, and operational responsibility for Landmark. The president serves and leads all members of the campus and is an ambassador for Landmark to local, national, and global communities. The next president will join the College at a moment of palpable momentum. Priorities for the next president include casting a future-looking vision; enhancing the College’s financial position; elevating Landmark College’s visibility and recognition; championing student wellbeing and graduate readiness; and advancing inclusion and belonging initiatives.
Landmark is characterized by an inclusive, diverse student-centered community, well-supported academics, financial strength, healthy enrollment, exceptional faculty and staff, and a dedicated and supportive Board of Trustees. The president will be a champion of the College, an ardent spokesperson for the enduring value of higher education, and the embodiment of the College’s mission.
