Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in serving diverse student populations.SCC's Community Education Department is seeking PB Project Support Specialist - Summer Camp for our Summer camp students ages 5-14 to support in the preparation and implementation of Summer camp programsSCC Summer Camps provide hands-on experience in specialized fields such as science, engineering, technology, chemistry, math, language arts & literature, computer science, career exploration, visual arts, performing arts, culinary, and sports. The SCC Summer Camps specialize in STEAM opportunities, We are preparing for our summer season and looking for Qualified individual(s) to assist during the summer camp season.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing support services to project staff Assisting with internal and external communication and outreachAssisting with registration processes and schedulingAssisting with classroom set up and instructional needs Collecting and verifying required forms/informationAssisting instructors with supply needs,Assisting with communication and outreach and Providing in class student support as needed
- Weekly between June 2 through August 8, 2025 No camp Thursday, June 19 and Friday June 20 (this will be a three-day week)No camps the week of June 30 - July 4 Hours may vary based on program requirements. Hourly rate will be determined based on experience, with minimum starting rate of $15/hourlyCamps run from:
- 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Full day)9 a.m.-12 noon (AM half day)1 p.m.-4 p.m. (PM half day) Support Specialists should plan to be available with enough time to set-up and clean-up each day of camp, prior to campers arriving and after campers leave.
- High School Diploma Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic communication Professional interpersonal and customer service communication skills Punctual, responsible and trustworthy with confidential information Trainings required before start date (Trainings will be offered on-site, if not already certified):
- HR Orientation (new SCC employees only)KnowBe4 Technology Safety TrainingSummer Staff OrientationCPR & Epi-pen Mandated Reporter
