One NIH-funded postdoc position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Shuai Huang at the Ohio State University. The Huang lab of plant systems immunology focuses on the molecular and biochemical mechanisms of phase-separated assemblies in plant health and disease. We are seeking highly self-motivated applicants for some very exciting projects. Learn more about our research at www.thehuanglab.net.
Qualifications
1. The candidate must have a recent Ph.D. degree by the time of hire in plant molecular biology, cell biology, plant genetics, biochemistry or a closely related field.
2. High motivation in plant research with excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills, and ability to work independently and cooperatively.
3. Proven experience (e.g., first-author publications) in plant molecular genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, genetic engineering, and/or biotechnology.

Term of Hire
The postdoctoral scholar position is initially a two-year appointment, renewable for up to three additional years, depending on performance and upon mutual agreement.

Pay Rate
