Wenzhou Business College is a top ranked private university approved by the Ministry of Education in China. With over 20, 000 students and 1,000 faculty members, the College invites applications for 10-year full-time tenure track positions at all ranks in English with a specialty in Applied Linguistics/TESOL to begin in Spring 2025. Applicants should possess a PhD degree in a related discipline, with strong skills in second language acquisition, cross-cultural communication, language testing and assessment.

Ideally candidates should have a track record in refereed publications and the strong potential to advance research further. The academic rank and the competitive compensation and benefits package including free housing, health insurance, schooling, 10% retirement contribution, home leave allowance and more will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. High research candidates with established publication record may be considered for a special research track, generous research funding, up to RMB 900,000 (about USD $140K) in tax-FREE salary (pending nationality), and additional allowance besides standard benefit package, e.g. extra RMB one million in housing subsidy.
