- Teach courses related to social work, with a focus on clinical and children/families.Curriculum development and revisionServe as a resource for faculty members and other program areasServe on faculty assembly and All-University committeesProvide service to the institution and the communityEngage in ongoing scholarship and professional activity (research, publications, presentations)Advise studentsSupport social work student organizationsMaintain compliance with CSWE accreditation standards Perform other duties, responsibilities, or special projects as assigned
- Master's degree in social work from a CSWE accredited program (PhD/DSW preferred)
- Previous undergraduate or masters social work teaching experience; will also consider other relevant experience
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of established professional code of ethics and best practices
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills including the ability to work with diverse groups
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of professional and community groups
