Reporting directly to the Manager of Patient Services, the Patient Services Coordinator will work as part of the Patient Services team at Student Health Services to provide a welcoming environment for students. Through exceptional customer service, the Patient Services Coordinator will greet patients, schedule appointments, answer phone calls, respond to online messages and review immunization compliance. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating patient flow, coordinating with medical staff, and handling inquiries with professionalism and empathy. The position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and maintain patient confidentiality.
Required Skills
Education: High School Diploma required, Associates Degree Preferred; 1-3 years prior experience required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including orally and in writing
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with medical terminology, EHRs/EMRs, and patient scheduling is preferred
