About the Role

Boston University Combined Enrollment Services seeks an Enrollment Service Advisor. Enrollment Service Advisors work as members of a team to provide direct customer service and counseling regarding Boston University's enrollment processes that is personal, professional, and confidential. This role uses comprehensive knowledge of the policies and procedures of Admissions, Financial Assistance, the University Registrar, Student Employment, and the University Service Center to advise students and resolve client problems and concerns. Overtime work, including weekends, holidays, and extended workdays, is often required depending upon the business needs of the enrollment cycle. Enrollment Service Advisors provide service to prospective and enrolled students, parents, families, alumni, University faculty and administrators, guidance counselors, and other internal and external groups. They also work with colleagues throughout the Enrollment & Student Administration unit to support the overall enrollment cycle.

The Enrollment Service Advisors primary duties include:
  • Providing direct customer service to constituents in-person, on the telephone, and through email, and;
  • Processing incoming daily work and special enrollment projects as needed.

Combined Enrollment Services (CES) is the Enrollment & Student Administration (ENSA) units cross-functional customer service one-stop resource for questions from enrolled and prospective students, their families, and BU alumni on questions regarding admissions, financial aid, registration, and more. Across the 11 departments of ENSA, we are dedicated to ensuring that our policies, practices, and services meet the needs of an increasingly diverse University community of students, families, faculty, staff, and alumni. About the Candidate

A Bachelor's degree is required for this position. We are seeking a candidate who has 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in a university or customer service setting, and displays excellent organization and communication skills.
