THE OPPORTUNITY:This is an exciting time to be a part of the HCCC community. Department/Division IntroductionThe School of Continuing Education and Workforce Development is an exciting and entrepreneurial office within the College, which offers a wide variety of non-credit classes, courses, seminars, and training sessions for the community. These offerings are focused on revitalizing careers, upgrading skills and credentials, growing businesses, and pursuing pastimes and passions. Additionally, the HCCC Center for Business & Industry (CBI) is the area leader in developing and delivering educational classes and programs for Hudson County’s businesses, organizations and individuals. Position Summary/Job Description Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Workforce Development, the Coordinator’s functions are assist with recruitment, enrollment, and direct monitoring of student activity through the designated training programs; host stakeholder events to grow the industry presence at HCCC; setup strong regular communication with our college partners, community stakeholders, various internal college offices, applicants, and students through the program; work with academic schools to build pathways to degree attainment. This is a part-time grant-funded position.
The Coordinator interfaces with external clients and partners, students, instructors, and other College departments to ensure that the administrative processes and logistics of program are met successfully, run professionally, and college-wide Centers for Workforce Innovation reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Associate’s degree with 2 years of related experience, to include administrative experience Bachelor's degree preferred.
