Job SummaryCoordinate the operation of an assigned university academic or clinical program or office.
ResponsibilitiesTypical Allocation of Duties
Coordinate operations to accomplish program/office objectives - 40%
Develop policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the efficient accomplishment of program/office objectives. Direct office/program operations.
Coordinate with others - 20%
Coordinate program/office activities with appropriate internal and external stakeholders. Represent program priorities before the larger university community.
Manage budget and personnel - 20%
Manage budget and control expenditures as assigned. Train, assign, direct, supervise, evaluate, and discipline personnel as assigned.
Reporting - 10%
Prepare a variety of regular and special reports. Maintain program/office files and records.
Provide services - 10%
Participate in the provision of direct services.
Supervisor Expectations
- Screen the literacy abilities of individuals of all ages at multiple community sites.
- Complete comprehensive assessments of the literacy abilities of individuals of all ages at multiple community sites.
- Provide skilled intervention for the literacy abilities of individuals of all ages at multiple community sites.
- Supervise student-provided screenings of the literacy abilities of individuals of all ages at multiple community sites.
- Supervise student-provided skilled intervention for the literacy abilities of individuals of all ages at multiple community sites.
- Participate in community-wide educational opportunities regarding literacy.
- Participate in organizing and delivering continuing education activities for speech-language pathologists.
- Participate in fundraising activities for the Sullivan Literacy Center.
Required Experience
Master's degree in clinical or program field and three (3) years of related work experience.
$30.06/hr
