The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is recruiting a Post Doctoral Fellow.

Essential Functions
  • Serve as a seasoned level researcher in the field of Head and Neck Cancer and/or Radiation biology and/or immuno-oncology.
  • Contribute to analysis of “big data” and bioinformatics with co-mentorship from a Bioinformatics faculty member.
  • Establish possible targets and/or biomarkers and perform wet lab experiments to test specific hypotheses.
  • Make independent contributions to projects and studies based on professional training or functional experience.
  • Solve problems using combined research knowledge.
  • Analyze research results.
  • Organize data search and analysis procedures.
  • Assist in establishing test controls, criteria and research standards.
  • Assists in the design of complex data processing systems to analyze research data.
Required Education

Doctoral Degree in the appropriate field or discipline, or the recognized terminal degree.

Required Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of specialized field, process or discipline.
  • May require experience with specialized software programs.

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
