Job Description:
The Stabler Department of Nursing at York College of Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced, innovative, and highly motivated candidate for a full-time tenure-track faculty appointment to teach in our baccalaureate nursing program to start in August 2025.
The successful candidate will have clinical expertise in critical care nursing or medical-surgical nursing, but other clinical experiences will be considered. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of teaching in nursing and will also be expected to advise students. Candidates will be expected to teach in both the classroom and clinical setting. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team in the Stabler Department of Nursing.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate potential for commitment to the college and community through prior service activities. Applicants should possess an earned doctorate or have plans to earn a doctorate within 5 years and demonstrate evidence of scholarly potential.

Outcome:
Successful hiring of 1 faculty to teach in our BSN program.

Preference will be given to candidates who have strong clinical backgrounds and experience in teaching. The ideal candidate will possess an ability to communicate effectively and have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.
