• Provide supplemental tutoring support related to nursing coursework
  • Courses include: Foundations in Nursing, basic math calculation, terminology, and others as needed
• Meet with students by appointment virtually/in a remote setting
• Provide work for students to do following tutoring session to check for understanding
• Collaborate with the applicable course instructor to determine plan of action for specific student (when applicable)
• Provide feedback to student specific to progression in subject matter.
• Provide feedback to the program director as to student progress.

Required:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse with two years minimum experience and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN)Commitment to undergraduate and professional education and student successDemonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environmentExcellent organizational and communication skillsMust be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents, including healthcare industry professionals)

A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), five years of working experienceTeaching or tutoring experience
