Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The MSU Entomology Department seeks qualified applicants for Temporarypositions. Duties will include following established protocols to setup experiments, count and sample insects in the laboratory and/or field,collect and enter data. The applicants do not need a background in entomology but must be willing to learn basic insect identification and handling of insects. The applicants will often be driving in university ownvehicles. Duties will also include effective communication with team members. Valid Vehicle Operators License Required

Desired Qualifications

Ability to work outdoors in adverse conditions for long periods of time. Good communication skills are highly desirable. Organized and punctual
