Job Details
(Contingent upon available funding): 17.25 - 21.00, Hourly Work Schedule: M / F, 8:00am to 5:00pm, nights and weekends as needed. Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: The Marketing Specialist for the Center of Global Learning (CGL) at Oklahoma State University (OSU) is responsible for the following items:Develop a marketing strategy to promote all program types overseen by the CGL.
Maintain the CGL website using OMNI and continually update the program offerings portfolio
Participates in OSU study abroad departments with outreach activities focused on faculty-led study abroad and other international initiatives
Coordinate marketing efforts with the OSU Global Communication Specialist
Creation of annual donor reports to the OSU Foundation
Assistance with CGL programming and events Special Instructions to Applicants Education & Experience Position Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
High school degree/GED and two years of work experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for work experience.Advanced proficiency in using various social media apps such as Instagram, Facebook, X
Experience developing and administering a marketing plan involving numerous stakeholders
Background experience in use of Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and other marketing tools
Effective oral and written communication to positively engage people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher; experience with database and application management and reporting (Terra Dotta, AIRTABLE); familiarity with learning management systems (Canvas), mastery of digital office tools, including Outlook and Teams
Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, organizational and supervisory skills
History of creativity in finding solutions to programmatic challenges while proposing initiatives to move the Center for Global Learning toward its goals and objective
Ability to interact with global program representatives, faculty, and students in a highly professional manner with an understanding of protocol and confidentiality.
Interest in professional development and involvement in professional organizations.Effective and professional problem-solving.
Flexibility in work assignments.
Professional presentation style.
