The Office of the Registrar works to support our current and former Sooners. Our mission is to collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to provide comprehensive enrollment management and academic record services with the utmost integrity & accuracy, while keeping student records secure and confidential. Additionally, we partner with parents, counselors, and communities in providing resources to students interested in higher education. The University of Oklahoma’s Office of the Registrar is a part of the Division of Enrollment Management. The Office of Registrar oversees Enrollment Services, Academic Records, diploma production, course & room scheduling, athletic certification, transcript evaluation, and Veteran Student Services.

Essential Duties:
- Performs office duties and coordination in support of student programs or services.
- Maintains files indicating student progress, letters of recommendations, transcripts, etc., as required.
- Assists students and residents by providing information pertaining to lectures, exams, national board exams, financial aid, textbook procurement, etc.
- Interfaces with Student Services in matters concerning grades, transcripts, and student status.
- Participates in planning and implementation of orientation for new students.
- Interfaces with faculty and/or staff while representing the department to explain the program, gather information needed to facilitate scheduling, etc.
- Update and maintain files and documents.
- Contribute daily to a collaborative, positive, and supportive work environment.
- Follow all FERPA guidelines.
- Identify problems, improvements, and errors to proactively raise these to the attention of appropriate management.
- Process all parental and student transcript releases at the conclusion of each Fall, Spring, and Summer semester(s).
- Primary point of contact for Concurrent Enrollment team in Enrollment Management – compile and send transcripts to High Schools at the conclusion of each academic term.
- Serve as ancillary support to the Senior Credential Evaluation Specialist with International and Study Abroad credit evaluation.
- Primary point of contact with Athletics Compliance and Admissions Office for evaluating and documenting academic credentials of current and prospective student-athletes in accordance with NCAA, SEC, Big XII and OU policies.
- Ancillary support to Office of the Registrar NCAA Certification officers for transfer evaluations
- Consult with Senior Credential Evaluation Specialist and Assistant Registrar as needed.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position
Job Location
Required Education: High School diploma or GED, AND:
- 12 months of office/clerical experience.
