- Preparation of the applications for Quinnipiac University and CEPH approval and accreditation
- Recruitment of faculty and staff
- Development of curriculum in the concentration areas of the MPH
- Liaise with University leadership, and CEPH representatives
- Develop and oversee the budget for the MPH program
- Collaborate with other Schools, Departments and programs of Quinnipiac as needed to achieve the goals of the MPH, including the awarding of joint degrees
- Contribute to developing on-line public health education
- Strategic oversight of public health education
- Collaboration and engagement with community, regional and international partners for global public health education
- Faculty development
- Meet ongoing CEPH accreditation requirements
- Doctoral degree in Public Health, Social and behavioral health, Biostatistics, Environmental health, Epidemiology, Medicine, Health policy and management required
- Master's in Public Health preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in academic leadership, preferably within an MPH program or other public health educational setting
- Experience with Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accreditation processes, including application preparation, compliance, and ongoing maintenance
- Proven track record of curriculum development and program evaluation in public health education, including online education modalities
- Experience in faculty recruitment, development, and management within higher education
- Experience in budget development and financial oversight of academic programs
- Demonstrated success in collaborative work across various departments, schools, and external partners
- Experience with strategic planning and oversight in public health education or related fields
- Strong leadership and administrative skills, with a proven ability to develop, implement, and manage a complex academic program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with university leadership, faculty, staff, students, and external partners
- Commitment to community engagement and the development of partnerships that enhance global public health education.
