Business Analyst Central Services University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc (UTFI) invites applications and nominations to fill the position of Business Analyst in the UTFI Central Office located in Knoxville, TN. Reporting to the Director of User Experience, the Business Analyst is responsible for improving the points of meaningful interaction between Advancement Services and its clients, both internal (the Foundation and UT) and external (alumni, donors, and other key constituents, along with third- party vendors and consultants). This role will develop a broad understanding of advancement processes and serve as a key role in administering and evolving the UT Foundation’s new Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system, which is powered by Salesforce. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Business Analysis: Elicit requirements through conversations with key stakeholders and analyze and organize information to assign tasks. Establish objective measures of key progress indicators and effectively communicate the business case and outcomes through presentations, meetings and other channels. CRM Administration: Leading efforts to improve our use of the CRM by instituting best practices and innovation and staying abreast of updates of the CRM and larger trends in the industry. Making iterative improvements to data configuration and the interface by monitoring use and responding to feedback. Administrating secure access for security reasons. User Services: Serving as the first point of contact for Advancement Services and responding to user requests. Assist in providing training for CRM users and developing support/trainings materials to ensure success. Document CRM processes and assist in writing policies and procedures and communicating them to colleagues.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience The candidate who fills the Business Analyst position is required to have: - Bachelors Degree - 3+ years of experience working on complex projects in information technology - 3+ years of experience in a position that required customer service and/or leading discussions with colleagues Preferred Education and Experience In addition to meeting the required qualifications, the preferred candidate will have: - Masters Degree - 2+ years of experience working on large team projects - 3+ years of experience in higher education - 3+ years of experience in University advancement - Experience with enterprise- level data systems, including CRMs, with a strong preference for Salesforce Application Process: Priority will be given to applications received on or before September 12, 2024 via our Taleo application system.
