Vice President of Finance and Administration
Lebanon Valley College (LVC) in Annville, PA, seeks a strategic and forward-looking leader to serve as its next Vice President of Finance and Administration (VPFA). A senior team member reporting to President James M. MacLaren, the VPFA will lead the financial direction of a dedicated institution that has and continues to evolve to meet its mission of educational, social, and regional impact. Lebanon Valley College drives outstanding student and graduate outcomes, and the VPFA plays a major role in developing and facilitating the College’s strategic, financial, and operational vision and goals. In Fall 2023, LVC welcomed the largest number of new undergraduate students in the College’s history, with 529 new students. This was the fifth time LVC welcomed the largest class in the last seven years. While the College’s enrollment success in a crowded market segment is notable, there are many ways in which the VPFA’s talents and hard work are vital for Lebanon Valley College’s long-term thriving. Lebanon Valley College educates students for lifelong success through exceptional undergraduate liberal arts programs and professional graduate programs delivered in an engaging and supportive academic and co-curricular environment. We educate our students to think critically and creatively, analyze and address complex issues, and communicate effectively. Founded in 1866, Lebanon Valley College is home to 1,641 full-time and 69 part-time undergraduate students, Lebanon Valley has 129 exceptional full-time faculty, 89 percent of whom earned a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree. The student-faculty ratio (FTE) is 12:1, with an average undergraduate class size of 19. LVC offers bachelor's degrees in more than 40 majors across fields in the arts, business and communications, education, health professions, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Lebanon Valley College was designated a Fulbright "Top Producing Institution" for the fourth time in February 2024. The next Vice President of Finance and Administration will ensure that the College is fundamentally strong and ideally positioned for continued success. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President of Finance and Administration is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategy through leadership and oversight of diverse functional areas including finance, investment and endowment operations, procurement, business services, and facilities. The VPFA will provide primary leadership, direction, and evaluation for all the College's financial and administrative affairs. Reports to the VPFA include Associate Vice President of Finance and Chief Budget Officer, Controller, Director of Finance and Budget, Executive Assistant to the President and Vice President of Finance & Administration, Executive Director of Facilities Management, and Auxiliary Services.
