Position Summary

As the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (DIA)'s Deputy Athletics Director/Chief Revenue Officer, you will lead our revenue-generating efforts and join us in our commitment to invest in tomorrow's champions today. This position is a remarkable opportunity to bring your strategic thinking skills, deep understanding of the sports industry, proven leadership success, and strong constituent engagement abilities to UCLA's storied program. As the Deputy Athletics Director/Chief Revenue Officer, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing revenue-generating operations and growth through various streams including ticket sales, sponsorships, multimedia rights, licensing and merchandising. You will directly supervise selected administrative areas, serve as a sport administrator and lead departmental initiatives, especially in the areas of revenue generation, communications, marketing, sales and service and resource allocation. You will be responsible for overseeing several senior staff members and assigned coaches, and you will be charged with establishing and maintaining consistent and equitable policies for staff and coaches, and managing various administrative units of the department. You will serve on the DIA executive team and work as a collaborative partner to the Director of the DIA. This executive role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and the development of innovative revenue streams to support the financial health and growth of the department. As Sport Administrator for assigned sport(s), you will insure that the assigned UCLA sport program(s) remains consistently ranked among the top in the country.
